Bossier City, Louisiana Newborn Photographer | Makeup and Hair For Your Newborn Session
What Is Included in Your Newborn Photography Session?
Bringing your baby to the studio for their newborn session should feel exciting, not stressful.
I know there can be a lot of questions when you're booking your first newborn session. What do I need to bring? What should baby wear? What about siblings? What happens during the session?
So let's talk about what you can expect when you book your newborn experience with me.
Your session isn't just about putting your baby in a cute prop and taking pictures. I want your session to feel personal to your family. We will grab whatever you need that is not already at the studio. Moms get to come in and have their makeup and hair done, access to our client closet, refreshments, and more. You don’t have to worry about anything. You should be able to come in and relax knowing your little one is in good hands for the newborn session.
Don't stress about putting together the perfect newborn wardrobe. I have beautiful wraps, textures, and carefully selected accessories available for your baby's session. We'll keep your baby comfortable and focus on creating timeless images that you'll love for years to come.
My goal is for you to be able to relax and enjoy this time with your baby.
You don't need to know how to pose.
You don't need to worry about whether your baby is behaving perfectly.
You don't need to have everything figured out.
That's what I'm here for.
I'll guide you through the session and help make the experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Your newborn session isn't only about your baby. It's about your family becoming a family of three, four, five or however many are joining you! We'll make time for family portraits, parent photos, and sibling images when appropriate. Those photographs of you holding your baby, your toddler meeting their new sibling, or everyone together are often some of the most meaningful images from the entire session.
Some of my favorite images are the tiny details.
Those little toes.
Tiny fingers wrapped around yours.
Their eyelashes.
Their lips.
Their little rolls.
The details that seem so small right now but will mean everything to you years from now.
These are the things that change so quickly, which is why I love documenting them.
Newborns don't work on a schedule.
Sometimes they sleep beautifully.
Sometimes they need to eat.
Sometimes they need a diaper change.
Sometimes they just want to be held.
And that's okay.
There is no need to rush through your session. Newborn photography requires patience, flexibility, and a lot of baby snuggles.
We will take breaks whenever your baby needs them.
