Shreveport, Louisiana Newborn Photographer | Luka's Newborn Session

This family was such a delight. When they reached out for a newborn photography session, I was pretty excited to finally get a boy in the studio. I had one spot left for the upcoming month. Usually I am nervous when I first meet my clients. There are so many emotions like happy, nervous, and excited. When I first met this family, I could feel the excitement right away. I love when parents want to see every little detail because they are interested in how I pose their little newborns.

Is it really work when you absolutely love your job?

This family was a dream family just like Lukas was a photographers dream. We did a variety of set ups including this cute neutral set up. I love when a set up so simple can turn out so precious. I am slowly falling in love with neutral colors (not as much as color). LOL. I definitely encourage my clients to fill out the questionnaire for colors of the nursery and their home. I want to design heirlooms that complete your home with family memories.

Malin explained how important family photographs were to her. I wanted to make sure to get several sibling photographs. These kids were definitely a fun bunch. They went with the pose even though they didn’t want to be that close to each other. Haha. I would have to say these are some of my favorite poses. Lukas did not even poop on mom and dad. I say that is an accomplishment. Even though I love to capture the faces the parents make.

Dad wanted a photograph of Lukas in his work helmet. I love when parents bring sentimental items because they are bringing a piece of them.
