Austin reached out to gift his wife a maternity and newborn session. I honestly don’t have many men who do that. How incredibly thoughtful? He said Kendra had talked about a maternity and newborn photoshoot for some time. While she was expecting with James (their oldest), she didn’t get to capture these moments. She knew it would be special for her. After he told her, I reached out to her about the session. You could tell she was excited to get the entire experience since she had never had a photoshoot prior. She was excited to try on gowns and have her hair and makeup done.
She wanted to keep maternity simple with lots of family photographs. We can tell James was waiting for his moment to shine. His expressions were the absolute cutest. I couldn’t get over how he would stand and smile which is usually not common for toddlers. Usually I love to play games with them to get them to smile for the session. However, James was ready to be a star. How beautiful is this family though? I loved getting to know about them.
Kendra had a hard time choosing her favorites so she chose over 40. I can’t blame her. Including family photographs, her gallery was huge. I had trouble choosing ones for this blog if I am being honest. At the newborn ordering, she will be able to choose her artwork. They chose several artwork including acrylics and smaller prints for family and friends. I can’t wait to see how they turn out. Now we are just waiting for their precious baby boy. I just know the sibling and family poses will be perfect at the newborn session.
