Ally was beyond excited for her newborn session. When they got to the studio in Shreveport, we try to allow them to relax. Dad even got a little nap while he was there. It truly shows us how comfortable you are! We know it takes a lot to trust someone with your little one. We don’t take that lightly. Her sister always came along and was able to get photographs with her VERY first niece. How awesome is that? I love when family members are able to come along. This moment is special for the whole family.

Little Camille was too sweet. I loved all her little rolls. She just wanted to cuddle the entire time. I can’t lie, I love when I get extra snuggles. Mom fell in love with the pink and yellow set ups! She also loved all the details in black and white. We wanted to create art. When I brought up the idea of the reflection, I could see how much she trusted me. When we did it at the newborn session, she fell in love with the results. I can’t wait to see it printed big in their home. I loved seeing how excited they were! It always feels amazing when someone understands the hard work and appreciates it. I know looking from the outside, it looks like I just take photographs. However, a lot goes into each pose, edit, and product.

I loved using the new tan fabric I got. The texture gives it the vintage look. Camille looked beautiful in every color though.

Look how precious these family photographs are! It was so hard for the parents to choose their favorites. I loved how much she smiled. We got a few so it always makes the parents excited. They seem to love smiling and awake shots. Those are some of my favorites too when I can capture them.
