I loved April from the moment I met her. Not only is my birth month April but we also had SO many things in common. It was meant to be from the moment I talked to her. We both have been with our spouse for 12 years and our anniversary are only days apart. Our children also have the same birth month. I love learning everything about my clients when I met them. We do pre-consultations via phone or even when I meet them for their photography session. The moment I talked to her, I could tell how excited she was. It was a plus that I provided gowns and makeup/hair. She asked a few times about makeup and hair because she couldn’t believe how easy everything was. She was excited she had to come with nothing. It was the photography experience she needed. I know she was nervous to meet me at first but I could tell how much she was glowing once we talked. We talked about anything and everything at the session.

April looked AMAZING in every gown she put on. Hearing the ahh and omg will never get old to me. I love how she even said she looked like a model. I felt the exact same. She was magazine ready. I loved she wanted a little of everything for her maternity session. That gave her a variety to choose from at her ordering. I could tell which ones she ABSOLUTELY loved. She chose some of my favorites from her gallery. I know it was hard since she loved them all but the hardest part was choosing one for her wall art. I can’t wait to see how beautiful it looks. We are going to coordinate the newborn session with the same gown and backdrop for her home.

I will have to say she was nervous Mason would be shy. He was almost the exact opposite. He was very open once I started talking to me. He said I really needed a rainbow backdrops. I can’t lie, that was a great suggestion. He was all giggles at the session. He loved being able to view them as well. He said he needs one of just him. So I promised at the newborn session, I would do that for him. He had a lot of great suggestions. I loved how comfortable he was. He was excited to take photographs with his mom and dad. It was the sweetest session.
