Shreveport, Louisiana Newborn Photographer | Gemma's Newborn Session

Such an amazing family to work with. I loved getting to know Kaylee and Drake. Gemma too of course. Gemma was a little doll. Her light colored hair and eyebrows were the cutest. I loved mom requested mainly pinks and neutrals. I haven’t used pink set ups in a while so it reminded me how much I loved pink. Can you believe she was the 14th baby girl this year? Something must be in the air because I mainly have girls all year. Looking at these photographs, she looks so tiny. Especially in her dad’s hands. At their ordering session I could even tell she looked bigger than before. She made the cutest noises while she ate. You can tell when she’s hungry because she didn’t like you taking the bottle away from her. Smacking her little lips and all. I don’t blame them for getting almost all of them. Kaylee had no problem choosing her favorites because she technically wanted almost all of them. It means a lot to me to hear about the experience my clients have. Hearing thank you for everything, they are perfect, or everything was perfect makes my whole day. Feeling appreciated by the little things in my business is what keeps me going.

Kaylee and Drake felt so comfortable, they fell asleep on my couch. It doesn’t happen often but I love when parents feel comfortable to nap. When you are parents, you have to nap when you can. These two were high school sweethearts. I can definitely relate so I loved hearing their story. Hearing stories about when couples were younger then grew up to start a family really hits home for me. Every one has a story of their own. I definitely ask questions during the session but that’s because I want to get to know my clients on a deeper level. Family is definitely important to them and I could tell.
