Kinleigh loved me so much she slept majority of the time. I always tell parents don’t jinx me when they say their baby sleeps all of the time. A new environment and moving them constantly can cause them to wake up more than normal. That is why when it comes to a newborn session, I do not force any pose. I mean how precious are they? I could have looked at them all day. I know their parents are so proud. I love their names start with K like mine. LOL! They were the cutest at their photography session!!! King was beyond ready to hold his baby sister. He did not even move the entire time while giving her kisses. He couldn’t get enough of her. Parents will never regret incorporating siblings into the portraits of their new little one/ones. It makes me happy dance when I see how much joy it brings them.
I got excited with each set up. She rocked every color but yellow might have been my favorite. I love colors that parents normally wouldn’t pick.
I can probably write 1000 blogs about how important newborn photography is. That is how important it is to me. You should want a photographer who is going to care for your little one like you do. It is a dirty job but the best job. I might get peed and pooped on for a living but I wouldn’t have it any other way. The moments I spend with each family makes everything worth it. The wow and ahhh at each set up and how it’s designed for them. It brings me joy to see how excited you are for your newborn experience.
